Rummans Energy Approved as an Illinois Shines Approved Vendor

Rummans Energy LLC is pleased to announce that the company has been approved to participate in the Illinois Power Agency's Illinois Shines program as an Approved Vendor for the 2026–27 Program Year.

Illinois Shines is Illinois' state-administered incentive program supporting the development of new solar generation through the purchase of Renewable Energy Credits (RECs).

Approved Vendors play a central role in the program by submitting qualifying solar projects, managing program requirements, and serving as counterparties to REC contracts with participating utilities.

For Rummans Energy, Approved Vendor status represents an important step in the company's development as a Central Illinois rural energy infrastructure developer.

Rummans Energy is currently focused on developing community solar and future-ready energy projects through partnerships with rural landowners and communities. Each potential project is evaluated for utility interconnection, land use, engineering feasibility, community fit, and long-term grid value.
